About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Ruby on Rails Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our growing development team. You will be responsible for developing high-performance, scalable web applications and APIs, maintaining existing systems, and contributing to architectural decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code

  • Develop and maintain APIs and backend services

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features

  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise

  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest development trends and best practices


    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails

    • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

    • Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL

    • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

    • Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs

    • Familiarity with Git version control

    • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

    • Good problem-solving and communication skills


      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience with testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest

      • Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Stimulus.js

      • Experience with background job processing (Sidekiq, Delayed Job)

      • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools

      • Contributions to open source or active GitHub profile
